Rosemary Balsamic Flat Iron Steak

I absolutely love flat iron steak! It has perfect marbling and it grills up quickly and is always melt-in-your-mouth delicious! It is best grilled on medium-high heat, and cooked no more than medium. I love to try different marinades with it, grill it quickly to a medium or medium rare, let it rest, and slice it thin! It just doesn't get better than that! It is so tender and juicy. This marinade is really good and hope you will try it! If you've never tried flat iron steak before, you are going to be in for a treat! Sliced thinly, this is a great choice for steak fajitas too!

Here is what you will need:

1 1/2 pound flat iron steak

3 T honey

3 T balsamic vinegar

3 T olive oil

Juice of one lemon

1 t worcestershire sauce

1/2 t dried rosemary

1/2 t garlic powder

1/2 t pepper

1/2 t salt

1 T butter melted (after grilling)

Place the flat iron steak in a long baking dish. Whisk all of the other ingredients together EXCEPT butter. Pour the marinade over the steak.making sure it gets underneath too. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, up to overnight, turning the steak a couple of times during this process. Preheat grill to medium high heat. Grill the steak about 4 minutes on each side to get to medium rare. Grill a little longer to medium. Do not overcook. Remove it from the grill and drizzle the melted butter on top. let it rest for a few minutes. Slice it against the grain thinly. Dinner is served!
