Crock Pot Korean Beef Short Ribs

Korean Beef Short Ribs! What a treat! Especially when they can be made in the Crock Pot, with a prep time of literally minutes and by dinner time....YUM! I used all natural, grass-fed beef and these were amazing! I had all my boys home to enjoy them and these ribs were a hit!

Just mix up the sauce and put the short ribs in the Crock Pot and pour the sauce over the ribs. Cook on high for about 7-8 hours. That's it! You gotta love the Crock Pot!

Here's what you need:

5 pounds of beef short ribs

*For the sauce:

1/2 cup lower sodium soy sauce

1/2 cup light brown sugar

2 T sesame oil

2 T rice vinegar

2 T minced fresh ginger

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 t red pepper flakes

When the ribs are done, remove them from the crock pot and skim any fat from the broth. Pour the sauce in a large saucepan, and add 2 T cornstarch mixed with water and heat over medium heat to thicken. Put the ribs back in the crock pot and pour the thickened sauce over them. Top with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions if you want. Enjoy!
