Bacon Mushroom Chicken

Wow! This was so good! You have to try this one! I made it in one skillet and it was perfect for our dinner tonight! This sauce was amazing!

Here’s what you need:

1 T olive oil

4-5 skinless boneless chicken breasts (about 1/2-3/4 inch thick)

Montreal Chicken seasoning to taste

1 T butter

8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms

2 t minced garlic

1/2 t Italian seasoning

1 T flour

3/4 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

4 sliced bacon cooked and crumbled

fresh parsley to garnish

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Season the chicken with Montreal Chicken seasoning to taste. Brown the chicken 3-4 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165. Remove the chicken and set aside. Melt the butter in the skillet and sauté the mushrooms and garlic until soft. Sprinkle on the Italian seasoning and stir. Sprinkle on the flour, stir to coat. Stir in the broth. Lower heat to simmer and add the cream . Adjust the taste with salt if needed. Add

the chicken back into the sauce, spooning the sauce over it . Sprinkle on the crumbled bacon and parsley. Enjoy!
