Easy Asian Marinated Chicken

So simple but so simply delicious! This was a hit with the family tonight for dinner! Hope you add this to your menu soon!

Here’s what you need:

3 T lower-sodium soy sauce

2 T rice vinegar

2 t minced garlic

8 boneless skinless chicken thighs

1 T olive oil

3 T honey

1-2 green onions sliced for garnish

crushed red pepper for garnish (optional)

Mix the first three ingredients in a dish or bowl and add the chicken thighs. Cover and refrigerate for a couple hours to marinate. Flip the chicken after one hour. After that, preheat the oven to 375. Heat a large ovenproof skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Add the T of oil to the skillet. Remove chicken from dish and discard the marinade. Place the chicken meaty side down in the skillet and allow to brown for about three minutes. Turn chicken over and drizzle the honey over each piece. Bake at 375 in oven for about 10 minutes or until it reaches an internal temoerature of 165. Baste each piece with juice from the pan and allow to sit about 5 minutes. Garnish with green onions and red pepper flakes if you like. Serve with your choice of sides. Enjoy!
