Yum! Garlic Parmesan Wings! These were so good! The boys really enjoyed them. I wanted to make these really crispy in the air fryer, then toss them in a garlic parmesan sauce before serving. What I ended up doing, was just that, but I put them back in the air fryer for a minute or two at the end just before serving and they were perfect!
Here's what you need:
2 lbs chicken wings, sectioned into two pieces
1/2 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
1/2 t smoked paprika
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t onion powder
1 T baking powder
Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
1/4 cup melted butter
1/3 cup grated parmesan
1/2 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
1/4 t black pepper
Set the air fryer to 400. Mix the 6 ingredients listed under the wings together in a small bowl. Pat the wings dry with a paper towel and sprinkle all sides of the wings with this mixture. Cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes, then flip the wings and cook about 10 minute s more, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
In the meantime, mix the ingredients for the garlic parmesan sauce in a bowl. When the wings are finished cooking, toss them in the garlic parmesan sauce to coat them well. I placed the wings back into the air fryer and cooked about 1-2 more minutes. Serve immediately! Enjoy!
