Holiday Brussels Sprouts

I love my Brussels sprouts, and this dish really makes them holiday worthy. This is creamy and cheesy and will be sure to make a great holiday side dish!

Here’s what you need:

1 T olive oil

2 lbs brussels sprouts, halved ( or sliced for larger ones)

1 shallot, sliced

1 t minced garlic

salt and pepper to taste

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan

3/4 cup freshly shredded white cheddar cheese

2-3 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled


Preheat oven to 375. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Sauté the Brussels, shallot and garlic on medium heat until tender. Salt and pepper to taste. Transfer this to a medium baking dish. Drizzle the cream over it and then sprinkle evenly with cheeses. Top with cooked bacon pieces. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
