These are the perfect healthier snack option that you and the kids will love! So delicious! Recently we had an anniversary celebration event for FaithFit, a faith based fitness program, and I asked people to bring healthy snacks. My friend, Barbie Warner brought these and they were a hit! I asked her if I could share the simple recipe with you! Only four simple ingredients you probably already have! Enjoy!
Here’s what you need:
1 1/2 cup ground oats ( I just put oats in the food processor)
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
6 t sugar free jelly or preserves
Mix all the ingredients together except the jelly. Form into balls. You should have 15 or so depending on the size. Take each ball and make an indention in each one to form the shape of a bird‘s nest. Place about 1/2 teaspoon of the jelly in the indention then close the ball back up, carefully reshaping the ball. Repeat until they are all finished. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving! Yummy!
