Prime Rib Prepared in the Air Fryer

Wow! The air fryer can do much more than heat up chicken nuggets! I attempted this prime rib in it and it was amazing! I started with a 5.5 lb boneless rib roast. This was quite a treat!

Here”s all you need:

5.5 lb boneless prime rib roast

a little olive oil

salt and cracked black pepper

Rub the roast with a little olive oil, salt and cracked black pepper. Cook in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Then cook it at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, turn the roast over, and cook 30 minutes more. I took mine out when the fattest part reached an internal temperature of 145. The temperature will rise a little while it’s resting too. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes or so before slicing. Mine turned out medium rare in the fattest part and more medium on the end. Enjoy!
