Salsa Chicken

Deeelish! This is super easy to put together; great for a weeknight dinner! The whole family will enjoy this dish!

Here’s what you need:

4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 jar chunky style salsa

1 red bell pepper sliced

1 green bell pepper sliced

1 small to medium onion sliced

1 package taco seasoning

11/2 cups Mexican blend cheese

rice of your choice to serve

Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Pour the salsa over the chicken. Place the sliced peppers and onion on top of the salsa then sprinkle the taco seasoning on top. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for about 4 hours or until the chicken is super tender . When it’s done, remove the chicken pieces with tongs and place them in a baking dish. Spoon some of the sauce along with the peppers and onions on top of each piece. Top with the cheese. Bake at 350 for about ten minutes or until its super cheesy! You can serve this with rice of your choice. Enjoy!
