Honey Sriracha Shrimp and Sausage

I think I may have outdone myself tonight....I grilled fresh-from- the -Gulf jumbo shrimp along with Honeysuckle , White turkey all-natural italian sausage, seasoned with this amazing seasoning blend I found from McCormick! It is Honey Sriracha and I think a found a new favorite to season meats and even veggies with! I sauteed peppers and onions and sprinkled the seasoning on them too and it was amazing! I wasn't sure how the turkey sausages were going to taste, but man they did not disappoint! They are a fantastic alternative to pork sausage with less fat and calories, and I must say so delicious! I served this with brown rice and it was my favorite meal I had all week! I got the shrimp from Gulf Coast Connection in Lone Oak. If you haven't been there, you need to! The seafood is fresh from the Gulf and it is always delicious.

Here's what you need: ( to serve about 4 )

1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 pack of Honeysuckle White all natural italian sausages

McCormick Honey Sriracha seasoning

2 T olive oil

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 large onion, sliced

salt to taste

Brown rice to serve

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Prepare the shrimp by placing them on skewers and laying them on a baking sheet. Brush them on both sides with olive oil and sprinkle both sides with the McCormick honey sriracha seasoning. Cover and refrigerate while you prepare the turkey sausages. Brush the sausages with olive oil and sprinkle all sides with the honey sriracha. Place them on the grill, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165. Keep warm. Saute the peppers and onion in olive oil and salt to taste, sprinkling with the honey sriracha to taste as well. Lastly grill the shrimp, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from the skewers. Now slice the sausages diagonally. To plate, serve with rice, then the pepper mixture, and top with shrimp and sausages. Oh my! You are in for a deliciously, healthy treat!
